Domestic help found dead

Chandigarh, October 8

A 38-year-old domestic help, who hailed from Nepal, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at a house in Sector 18 here this morning.

Suspectinsg it to be a case of suicide, the police have started inquest proceedings under Section 174 of the CrPC.

The police said they got a call from the owner of the house, Sanjeev Kumar, that his servant, Dinanath, did not come out of his room till 8 am. He grew suspicious and went to the room only to find him lying on the bed. He was taken to the GMSH- 16 where doctors declared him dead. The police said the exact cause of the death would be known after the post-mortem examination. — TNS
