Govt teachers demand job regularisation

CHANDIGARH:A delegation of the Government Teachers’ Union (Democratic), UT, Chandigarh, along with co-ordination committee of government and MC employees and workers of the UT met Sehdev Salaria, executive member of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha regarding the regularisation of contractual teachers working in government schools of Chandigarh.



Chandigarh, April 28

A delegation of the Government Teachers’ Union (Democratic), UT, Chandigarh, along with co-ordination committee of government and MC employees and workers of the UT met Sehdev Salaria, executive member of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha regarding the regularisation of contractual teachers working in government schools of Chandigarh. 

The delegation comprised of Dr Dharmender, president, Jaspal Singh, senior vice-president, Amandeep Singh, general secretary, Dr Maninder Khanna, deputy secretary, Ashwani Kumar, convener, Ajit Singh, chairman, Rakesh Kumar, advisor of co-ordination committee, and Anil Kumar, executive member.  Salaria gave a patient ear to the delegation and assured for the formulation of a secured policy for teachers working on contract basis in government schools. He also gave assurance that a meeting with advisor along with MP Kirron Kher would be fixed shortly.—TNS

  • Travelling allowance for training programs 
  • Leave at par with regular staff 
  • Compulsory EPF deduction
