Haryana to open skill development institutes soon: Khattar

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said the state government would soon open skill development institutes for those who could not get education and remained illiterate but have inherited skills.

Chandigarh, May 17

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said the state government would soon open skill development institutes for those who could not get education and remained illiterate but have inherited skills.

The Chief Minister was speaking at the Saksharta Karyakram-2015 organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad at the Tagore Theatre here today. He also announced to provide land for setting up of a 200-bedded hospital by the Bharat Vikas Parishad in Panchkula.

He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given the dictum “Padhe Bharat-Badhe Bharat”, which means there would not be any development without education.

The Chief Minister also appreciated the efforts of the Bharat Vikas Parishad that was set up in 1963 with the vision of service, cooperation, contact and dedication and was working for the well-being of people, helping the helpless and helping in educating meritorious poor students.
