NIPER to get new head soon

MOHALI:The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali, would soon get its new director as the newly-constituted Board of Governors (BoGs) gave their nod to start selection process for the purpose in their meeting held here today.

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali, would soon get its new director as the newly-constituted Board of Governors (BoGs) gave their nod to start selection process for the purpose in their meeting held here today. 

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Dr VM Katoch, former secretary, Department of Health and Research, and former director general, Indian Council of Medical Research. Today's meeting was the first meeting of the newly-constituted BoGs in which several other important agendas were taken up. 

He emphasised that need of the hour was to provide good governance in the institute for its better growth.
