Chandigarh, December 24
Observing a distinct need for a digital component in the English proficiency programme being run by the English Department, Panjab University signed an agreement with Skills Anytime, a subsidiary of a UK-based limited company. This online module will now make for the digital component of the English proficiency programme.
They are designed to provide individualised learning pathways for English language development. They will be offered at a subsidised rate in line with the PU fee structure.
“This is the time of digital learning. We have decided to have a course that is more intense in the sense that students can learn and access study material at home on their laptops and mobiles whilst the tutors can monitor it from a distant location also. Blended learning facilitates gives a comprehensive and holistic learning outcome,” said Prof Deepti Gupta, Dean International, Panjab University. —TNS
