The entrepreneurship development cell (EDC) of the UIET, Panjab University (PU), has organised a two-day national entrepreneurship summit, UDYAMI, which began with the inaugural session on ‘smart cities and opportunities’ with Bipin Kumar (co-founder, GAIA Smart Cities), moderated by Dr Deepti Gupta, DIS, Panjab University, here today.
Shraddha Bhansali, founder, Candy and Green, spoke on standing out from the competition followed by a workshop on digital hacks and security by Lucideus Tech. A panel discussion also took place consisting of Viiveck Verma, Sabyasachi Mukhopadhyay, Amit Agrawal and Ricky Bedi as panelists and Simarpreet Singh as moderator.
There was an interactive talk by Kshitij Mehra, founder, The Ventilator Village and Yuvshaala, emphasising the significance of following one’s passion.
Adding to this series of amazing talks, there was a talk by Rohit Raj, co-founder, The Glitch, who told the present about the importance of starting their own creative firm. Meanwhile, competitions were also organised to engage the participants.
