Fake Aadhaar card gang busted, 2 arrested

Panchkula: The police busted a gang that used to make fake Aadhaar cards. The police arrested two accused, Balwinder and Navdeep, residents of Mohali.



Panchkula: The police busted a gang that used to make fake Aadhaar cards. The police arrested two accused, Balwinder and Navdeep, residents of Mohali. IO Sukhwinder Singh said recently they came to know that a Sector 11 resident, Rajesh Kumar, had received two Aadhaar cards at his residence, but no persons of such names were residing there. On the complaint of Rajesh, the police started investigation and found that these two persons were auto drivers. The police grilled both drivers and found that Mohali residents - Balwinder and Navdeep - were running the racket, who were arrested today. Both accused were sent to two-day police remand. — TNS
