GMCH-32 nurses to go on strike today

CHANDIGARH: In protest against the non-fulfilment of their demands, the nursing staff of the GMCH-32 has decided to go on a 48-hour strike from tomorrow.



Chandigarh, January 22

In protest against the non-fulfilment of their demands, the nursing staff of the GMCH-32 has decided to go on a 48-hour strike from tomorrow.

The members of the GMCH Nurses’ Welfare Association will stage a dharna in front of the hospital from 4 pm. The association is said to have already informed the hospital administration. The association has also threatened to go on an indefinite strike from February 1 if their demands are not fulfilled by the hospital administration. — TNS
