The world came crashing down for Krishna Devi, who not only lost her son but also got her “lovable” grandson arrested.
It was on her complaint that the police registered a case of murder under Section 302 and arrested Ankush. Pawan’s wife had left them 10 years ago.
“Everything is finished for me. I have lost my my son, and in a way my grandson also. To provide justice to my son, I had to get my grandson arrested,” said Krishna Devi.
Sources said when nobody was willing to give a complaint to the police, Krishna Devi stood up and told the police the truth following which the complaint was lodged.
Dr Sunil Gambhir, who conducted the postmortem, said, “The victim had multiple fractures in the skull.”
Victim’s sons refused to take him to PGI
Doctors at the General Hospital asked the victim’s sons to take Pawan to the PGI as his condition was serious, but they refused to do so and said they would get him treated at there only.
