High drama was witnessed when residents of Bapu Dham Colony, Sector 26, staged a protest outside the Bapu Dham police post tonight, alleging that the police post in-charge slapped a minor girl.
Sources said the police had received a call of a fight between a couple. A team, led by police post in-charge Mallok Singh, went to the spot.
Residents alleged that Mallok Singh slapped the couple’s daughter. A police force was rushed to the spot following the incident.
The allegation levelled against the policeman was yet to be established.
