Hit by truck, 71-yr-old dies

ZIRAKPUR: A 71-year-old man was crushed to death under the wheels of a truck here today. The deceased has been identified as Om Prakash, a resident of Govind Vihar, Baltana.

A 71-year-old man was crushed to death under the wheels of a truck here today.

The deceased has been identified as Om Prakash, a resident of Govind Vihar, Baltana. The incident occurred around 2.30 pm when Om Prakash was crossing the road near the Patiala traffic light in Zirakpur.

The truck driver, Jai Ram, has been arrested. — OC
