CHANDIGARH:KBS Dhillon Club, Sector 56, defeated Dev Samaj College (Club), Sector 45, by nine wickets to win the Senior State Cricket Championship for Dr KBS Dhillon Trophy held at Dev Samaj College, Sector 45.

Chandigarh, February 21

KBS Dhillon Club, Sector 56, defeated Dev Samaj College (Club), Sector 45, by nine wickets to win the Senior State Cricket Championship for Dr KBS Dhillon Trophy held at Dev Samaj College, Sector 45. Batting first, Dev Samaj College posted 115/5 in 20 overs. Shabnam (52) and Reena (14) were the main scorers. Mamta and Priyanka claimed one wicket each. 

In reply, KBS Dhillon girls reached home (120/1) in 14.2 overs. Priyanka (58) and Mamta (48) remained unbeaten in the chase. Saloni claimed one wicket. 

Priyanka was named Player of the Match while Supriya of MCM DAV College (Club) was adjudged the best bowler of the tournament. Shabnam of Dev Samaj College (Club) was awarded with the best batswoman of the tournament title.
