Spiritual fervour pervaded as the Sanskar Bharti, in collaboration with the Theatre Arts, presented a mythological tale, “Leela Sri Krishan Ki”, at Tagore Theatre here today.

The light and sound show ran into its 259th edition. Written by Jai Parkash Bhatt and directed by Rajiv Mehta, the play, based on the Bhagavad Gita, depicted episodes from lives of Lord Krishna and his divine consort Radha, right from his birth to childhood “leelas”, “Kansa vadh”, “Sudama milan” and the eternal “Gita updesh”.

All 27 actors gave a spellbinding performance, portraying varied facets of Lord Krishna’s divine persona that of a godhead, philosopher and guide to the Pandavas. The actors won applause for being in perfect sync with dialogues  to match the audio-visual effects in over two-hour-long play.
