One person was killed while two others were seriously injured after a speeding truck hit a rickshaw and a cyclist near the veterinary hospital in Mani Majra this evening. The truck driver was reportedly in an inebriated condition.
According to the police, the accident took place on the road from Kishangarh towards Mani Majra.
The injured were rushed to the hospital where doctors declared Rajinder, a native of Kurukshetra who had hired the rickshaw, brought dead. The truck driver, Man Singh, a resident of Kharar, has been arrested and a case registered against him at the IT Park police station.
