Marathon for a cause

Chandigarh: Aiming to raise funds for the families of soldiers posted in the border areas of the country, Lt Col Sundaresan R (retd) will run a full marathon here on Sunday. The run will be the 42nd in a series of 50 marathons aimed by Lt Col Sundaresan over 50 consecutive weeks, and spread across 50 different locations. The retired Army officer started the campaign — Run with a Soldier, Run for a Soldier — in December last year and he is scheduled to complete his 50th run in November this year. — TNS
