MC to auction 105 booths in Mauli Jagran

The Chandigarh Municipal Corporation has decided to hold auction of 105 built-up booths in Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, on July 13.

The auction of booths will be conducted at the time when the civic body is facing the worst-ever financial crisis. While the previous auction had evoked a poor response as only five booths could be auctioned, Municipal Corporation officials are expecting good response this time.

The sites will be given on a leasehold basis for 99 years through an open auction to be held at 11 am in the conference hall of the corporation.

The reserve price ranges between Rs 15.75 lakh and Rs 18.42 lakh for 11.49 sq m booths, depending on the location.
