Chandigarh: The school celebrated its annual day. It was a perfect venue for children to showcase their talents through an array of entertaining programme. The programme commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by chief guest BL Sharma, IAS, Education Secretary, Chandigarh. Administration principal Saroj Savant presented the annual report, highlighting the school achievements. The cultural extravaganza performances comprised an amalgamation of enthralling music, dance, and drama. Tiny Tots in colorful costumes enthralled the audience.

Honour for school librarian

Panchkula: The head of the library department Sunidhi wins the 'Best Paper Award' at the CLA National Library Conference organised by the CLA Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 45, Chandigarh. Also, along with the paper, Sunidhi won the 'Best Poster Award' at the CLA National Conference. It was an honour for the teacher as she has been winning the top most position consecutively from the last few years.

Panchkula: The school celebrated its Annual Sports Day at Tau Devi Lal Stadium. The event began with welcoming guests followed by lighting of the flame by Harsh and Ritika, the students, who have represented the school at the national level. Principal Shelley Chugh shared the School's annual report with all guests. The students presented the PT drill, musical PT, demo of Wushu and martial arts and yoga. More than 400 students participated in variety of races such as 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, relays, lemon race, hurdle race and tug of war. 

DAV School

Mohali: A Class X student, Ayush Raju Bankar, won first rank in tricity in Robo Champs Olympiad Stage-Li (Rco-Ii) which was organised at Moti Ram Arya Samaj School , Sector-27 , Chandigarh. He also scored first position at centre level and 45 th rank at National Level in RCO-II.

34 tricity schools compete

Chandigarh: Swaraj Tractors conducted Regional Jet Toy and Skimmer Olympics, under AWIM, SAE India programme, at Chitkara International School on Thursday. Teams from 19 schools - government and private participated in this event. The team from Saupin's Schools, Chandigarh, won the first position in jet toy, while Chitkara International School's team lifted the winner's trophy for the skimmer challenge.  The teams from Government Senior Secondary School, Sarangpur and Government Model High School, Mani Majra were adjudged 'runners up' in jet toy and skimmer, respectively.

GMSSS, Sector-38 (West) 

Chandigarh: Under 'Drugs Deaddiction' theme; a seven-day long NSS Camp started at Govt Model Sr Sec School, Sector-38(West), Dadu Majra Colony, Chandigarh.  Madhu Bala, Assistant Programme Advisor (NSS), NSS Regional Directorate, Chandigarh, inaugurated the camp. — TNS
