Patiala: The Post Graduate Department of Music Vocal of Khalsa College, Patiala, organised a 'Sham-e-Ghazal' programme. Dr Neeraj Gandhi, Assistant Professor, Government College, Bilaspur, enthralled the audience with his ghazals. Dr Neeraj presented many renowned ghazals and spell-bound the audience. 

Hindi Diwas observed

The Department of Hindi of Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala, observed 'Hindi Diwas' fortnight here on Friday. Principal Khushvinder Kumar inaugurated it. He said Hindi being our national language acted as a link-language for the country as a whole.

US team visits Rayat Bahra

Faculty of Engineering of the Rayat Bahra Group, Patiala campus, organised a seminar on career counseling to help students in today's fast-paced and hi-tech business and professional world. Dr George Allen, Vice-President and Dean of Graduate Studies, Texas, A&M University; Dr Venkat Allada, Vice-Provost, Missouri University of Science and Technology; and Jodi Ann, Prospective International Student Advisor, Missouri University, were the speakers. The US delegation members spoke on career prospects to provide clarity of career purpose and clearly defined the goals for the students to achieve their career plans they wish to adopt. — OC
