Online portal to tackle illegal mining

Mohali: To curb illegal mining, the Punjab Government has created an online portal, on which complaints regarding illegal mining can be filed.



Mohali: To curb illegal mining, the Punjab Government has created an online portal, on which complaints regarding illegal mining can be filed. Additional Deputy Commissioner Charandev Singh Mann said the government had started the PB-GRAMS online portal (www.publicgrievancepb.gov.in) where any person could file a complaint regarding illegal mining. The complaints will be forwarded to the Director, Mining Office, and the Deputy Commissioner of the respective district.— TNS
