CHANDIGARH: The first Chandigarh Open Swimming Championship will be held at the Sector 23 all-weather swimming pool on July 7.



Chandigarh, June 24

The first Chandigarh Open Swimming Championship will be held at the Sector 23 all-weather swimming pool on July 7. The championship will be conducted in the age groups, including U-8 years (born after 2010), U-10 years (born during 2008-09), U-12 (born during 2006-07), U-14 (born during 2004-05), U-17 (born during 2001-03) and open category (born during 1993-2000), in both the boys and girls categories. The swimmers registered in Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh can participate in the championship. Interested swimmers can send in their entries before July 5, the tournament venue.—TNS
