Over 953 benefit from camp in city

CHANDIGARH: Members of the Chandigarh Senior Citizens'' Association organised a socio-medical camp at Government High School, Colony No. 4, Industrial Area-I, Chandigarh, on Sunday.

Members of the Chandigarh Senior Citizens' Association organised a socio-medical camp at Government High School, Colony No. 4, Industrial Area-I, Chandigarh, on Sunday. This was the fourth camp in a series of such camps which are held September to celebrate the International Elders Day on October 1.

The UT Administration's Directorates of Social 

Welfare, Labour Department and Food Supply Department and a team each from Punjab National Bank and Post Office provided much needed general awareness at the camp. 

SS Randhawa, vice-president of the association, informed that over 953 patients got the benefit of the camp.
