Panchkula, September 23

The Panchkula police arrested one more person for the murder of Sector 19 resident Dyal Kishan Tiwari.

The arrested person has been identified as Ashish. Till date, the police have arrested three persons, including Tiwari’s ex-wife Deepa and her father Devi Dutt, both residents of Rajpura.

Meanwhile, Tiwari’s family members still not ready to cremate his body. They are demanding the arrest of all accused. Sources said two more accused were at large.

Dyal Kishan Tiwari (46), a resident of Sector 19, was found dead at his residence yesterday. On the complaint of Tiwari’s mother, the police had booked his former wife Deepa and her father Devi Dutt, both residents of Rajpura,  and Ashish, under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Tiwari, who was living with his old mother, had divorced his wife a few years ago following a marital dispute.

As per the complaint, Deepa came to meet him at his residence, along with her father and two other people. They allegedly entered into a scuffle with Tiwari, who suffered injuries.

Later, he slept in his room and complained of bodyache. He died on September 21.
