Patiala and Jalandhar shared the Katoch Shield after the final day's play at the IS Bindra PCA Stadium in Mohali was completely washed out.
The play was extended to the fourth day after rain played a spoilsport on Friday. But heavy showers overnight and persistent rain during the day meant that not even a single ball could be bowled today.
Patiala had closed yesterday's play at 372/2 in response to Jalandhar's first innings total of 599/8.
JP Atray championship
Meanwhile, today's fixtures in the JP Atray Memorial Tournament were also abandoned due to rain.
Tripura was scheduled to take on Air India at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula, while CAG Delhi was supposed to meet BTM Warriors at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium here. All the four teams got two points each. — TNS
