Chandigarh, December 16
Maj Gen MS Kandal, Patron, Institute of Hospital Engineering; and Dr JC Mehta, Emeritus National President of Institute of Hospital Engineering, presented a preliminary project report of proposed National University of Healthcare Engineering, Architecture, Infrastructure/ Environment to UT Home Secretary Anurag Aggarwal today.
Maj Gen Kandal recognised Dr Mehta as the soul of this project and acknowledged his tireless efforts over the past 45 years into making this dream a reality. All members requested Anurag Aggarwal to endorse and help accelerate commencement of courses in 2018.
Aggarwal extended his support for the initiative stating this not only supported smart city initiative, but also fundamentally improved quality of hospital services.
