Register FIR against school authorities, says court

A local court today directed the UT police to register an FIR against the chairman, director, principal, vice-principal and counsellor of a private school in a corporal punishment case. 

 Last year, the mother of a minor student got to know that her son was beaten up in school. He told his mother that the incident took place on May 11, 2016.

As per petition, the son of the complainant was under acute depression after this incident  and used to remain quiet and isolated. Later, this plaint was filed.
