Chandigarh: Traffic snarls were witnessed on Madhya Marg following repair work in Sector 8 on the road separating Sector 8 and 18 and the road separating Sector 16 and 10 for a few hours on Thursday.
The traffic on Madhya Marg moving towards Sector 8 was diverted from the Sector 17 Press light point towards the road separating Sector 8 and 9 from where commuters moved ahead through the inner road of Sector 8.
The traffic moving on Madhya Marg towards Matka Chowk was not affected.
The road was closed on the Sector 10 side on the road separating Sector 10 and 16 opposite the General Hospital for the repair work. —TNS
