Ruchika Girhotra case crusader Anand Prakash passed away here on Thursday night.
Prakash, 74, who lived in Sector 6 here, was the father of Anuradha, friend of Ruchika. Prakash was suffering from prostate cancer and was admitted to General Hospital, Sector 6, here.
The cremation will take place at 4 pm on January 13 at the Manimajra cremation ground.
His younger daughter Anuradha, who was Ruchika's friend, is in Panchkula these days. The cremation has been delayed as his elder daughter Aadhunika is yet to arrive from the US.
Ruchika had committed suicide on December 29 in 1993, three years after she was ‘molested’ by former Haryana DGP SPS Rathore.
