Snatchers target woman in Pinjore

In yet another snatching incident, a woman was targeted by miscreants at Pinjore in Panchkula district on Saturday night.

The incident took place around 8 pm when Pinjore resident Raj Kumari was going towards her new house, along with her sister-in-law. The snatcher came in an Activa scooter and snatched Raj Kumari’s purse. The victim and her sister-in-law tried to chase the snatcher, but in vain. The matter was reported to the police, who have started an investigation.

The purse contained cash and documents. The victim had constructed a new house and they were going to make arrangements for the house-warming ceremony. 

Purse snatched in Sector 21chandigarh: A scooter-borne miscreant snatched a purse from a woman in Sector 21 on Sunday evening. 

Sources said the accused, riding an Activa scooter, snatched the purse containing Rs 1,200 and documents from Ranjana Bhatia, a resident of Sector 15, around 8.25 pm. The victim failed to note down the registration number of the scooter. The police were informed about the incident, who visited the spot.
