Soon, fly to three more Indian cities

MOHALI: Soon, flights to Ahmedabad, Indore and Kolkata will be started from the Chandigarh international airport.



Mohali: Soon, flights to Ahmedabad, Indore and Kolkata will be started from the Chandigarh international airport. Airport officials said after the airport opened on June 1, at least four domestic flights would be added to the schedule. 

CHIAL PRO Deepesh Joshi said with the addition of three new destinations, the domestic connectivity would get a fillip.

GoAir, which had earlier deferred its Ahmedabad-Chandigarh-Srinagar flight due to the airport closure, would make it operational from June 1.

From July 1, IndiGo will operate a direct flight to Bengaluru and from July 15, it will start a Kolkata-Chandigarh-Srinagar flight. Jet Airways will start a direct flight between Chandigarh and Indore from August 1. TNS
