PANCHKULA: A speeding truck killed a 29-year-old youth on the Pinjore-Nalagarh national highway.

A speeding truck killed a 29-year-old youth on the Pinjore-Nalagarh national highway.

The deceased has been identified as Stephan, a resident of Pinjore. The truck, which was coming from Baddi to Pinjore, hit three vehicles, including a motorcycle, which was being ridden by Stephan, near Gorakhnath village on Saturday night.

The police said Stephan, along with another injured Avinash, was taken to the PGI, where doctors declared him brought dead. The body was handed over to the family after a postmortem. The police have registered an FIR against the truck driver, who fled from the spot, leaving the vehicle behind.
