Chandigarh Chess C''ship begins

Chandigarh, May 26 

The 27th Chandigarh Chess Championship 2016 started at St Xavier's Senior Secondary School, Sector 44-C, here on Thursday. 

A total of 60 players are participating in the championship, out of which 25 are rated players. 

The championship is being organised by the Chandigarh Chess Association to select a team of four to represent Chandigarh at the National Challengers Chess Championship being held at Noida, Uttar Pradesh, from July 8 to 19.
