Chandigarh, March 26

Gopal Boru won the gold medal in the below 55kg category at the 26th Junior Mr Chandigarh Bodybuilding Championship here today. 

Jaswinder Jashan finished second and Davinder Singh claimed the third spot in the event. 

In the below 60kg category, Rohit Saini, Neelabh and Sameer Verma claimed the top three positions, respectively. In the below 65kg category, Manpreet Singh won the gold medal, with Gurpreet Singh taking the silver and Satish Thakur winning the bronze medal. 

In the below 70kg category, Sumit Singh, Navjot Singh and Deepinder Singh won the gold, silver and bronze medals, respectively. 

In the below 75kg category, Lakhbir Singh claimed the top position, while Sukhpal Singh finished second and Suraj claimed the third position. 

In the below 80kg competition, Saurav Rana was adjudged the best. 

He was followed by Charanjit Singh and Abhishek. In the below 85kg event, Jasbir Singh finished first and Hardeep Singh finished second. Abhishek Pahwa finished first in below 90kg category while Vivek Sambhra finished second. 

In the below 95kg category, Gurpartap Singh Mann finished first. In the below 100kg event, Rajiv won the gold. In the above 100kg competition, Avtar Singh and Ankush Malhi claimed the top two spots, respectively. In the 14th Classic Mr Chandigarh Championship, Pushpinder Bharti claimed the first position. Avtar Singh and Rajiv finished joint second, while Boru finished fourth.

Sumit Singh won the 2nd Fitness Physique Mr Chandigarh championship. Dev Ashish finished second and Abhishek Pahwa claimed the third position. The winners were awarded cash prizes.
