Krishan Hooda bagged the top honours in the boys’ U-14 singles main draw. He defeated Chiraz Singh 7-6(4), 6-0 in the ongoing AITA Talent Series (TS-7) Tennis Tournament at Chandigarh Club today. In boys U-16 singles main draw, Naresh Badgujar defeated Savneet Singh Bajwa 6-3, 6-1 to emerge champion.
In the girls’ category, Srishti Dhir and Harleen Kaur had a tough fight in U-14 singles. Dhir won the top honours after defeating her rival 2-6, 6-4, 6-1.
In U-16 girls’ section, Priyanka Jakhar beat Arti Nayan 6-3, 6-3.
