Patiala emerged overall champions in the Punjab State Cycling Championship, which was held at Punjabi University here today. Jaswant Singh Grewal, former general secretary of the Cycling Federation of India was the chief guest on the occasion. Punjabi University cycling coach Mittarpal Singh said the tournament was held in the U-14, U-16 and U-18 age categories and men and women open categories.

Sprint (men): 1st Manjeet Singh of Amritsar; 2nd Pawan Kumar of Patiala; and 3rd Harpreet Singh of Patiala.
Sprint (women): 1st Pooja of Patiala, 2nd Jasmine Kaur of Patiala; and 3rd Kiran Kaur of Amritsar.
Sprint (boys) U-18: 1st Amandeep Kamboj of Ludhiana; 2nd Gurpreet Singh of Amritsar; and 3rd Nikhil Sharma of Ludhiana.
