CHANDIGARH:The Mohali District Table Tennis Association will conduct the 58th Punjab State Open and Inter-District Table Tennis Championships from December 23 at the Sector 78 GMADA Sports Complex in Mohali.

Chandigarh, December 21

The Mohali District Table Tennis Association will conduct the 58th Punjab State Open and Inter-District Table Tennis Championships from December 23 at the Sector 78 GMADA Sports Complex in Mohali.

A total of 250 paddlers from 14 districts of the state have so far confirmed their entries for the four-day event, which is being held under the auspices of Punjab Table Tennis Association and the Punjab State Institute of Sports.

During the championship, players will compete in the men’s, women’s, youth boys’ and girls’, and junior boys’ and girls’ categories, in both singles and team competitions, the organisers said here today.  

Team competitions will be held on the first two days of the championship, followed by the open events, the sports body added.
