Dog bites neighbour, owner held

CHANDIGARH:A resident of Sector 37 was booked by the police after her neighbour was bitten by her dog.

Chandigarh, June 15

A resident of Sector 37 was booked by the police after her neighbour was bitten by her dog. The victim, Gopal Das, had gone to the dog owner’s house after learning that there was a dispute there when the dog attacked him. 

Inspector Dilsher Chandel, SHO of the Sector 39 police station, said the dog owner, Beena Mehta, was arrested and later released on bail. “The victim claimed that he had gone to pacify the neighbours when the dog attacked him,” the SHO said.
