Strawberry Fields holds draw, but for waitlisted candidates

CHANDIGARH:Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26, held a draw today but for 10 waitlisted candidates as all the seats went for sibling quota and those promoted from their playschool.

Chandigarh, January 22

Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26, held a draw today but for 10 waitlisted candidates as all the seats went for sibling quota and those promoted from their playschool.

The school has offered 160 seats for the KG. Forty seats are reserved for Economically Weaker Section (EWS).

The school has given preference to siblings of the students studying at Strawberry Fields High School, Sector 26, or Strawberry Fields, Sector 24, and children studying in lower KG at Strawberry Fields, Sector 24.

According to the school, 59 seats were allotted to siblings' category, while 61 seats have been filled under by children from its playschool. As all the 120 seats got filled, the draw was held only for 10 waitlisted candidates. 

The draw of lots for the balance 40 seats reserved for students from the economically weaker sections will be held on February 9. So far, draw of lot has been held for St Kabir Public School, Sector 26, St Stephen's School, Sector 45, Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 33, and Delhi Public School, Sector 40.

St John's High School, Sector 26, will hold draw of lot for the UKG on January 25.

Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, and St Anne's Convent School will hold draw of lot for the LKG on January 25.
