Chandigarh, March 13

Students of Class XII today complained that the CBSE chemistry paper was tricky.

Aayush Kaushik of The Gurukul, Sector 20, Panchkula, said, “The paper was a bit tough than the previous years’ papers. It was mostly analytical rather than direct.”

Mahak Saini of The Gurukul, said, “The chemistry paper was a little tricky. Questions were based more on application.”

Sagar Verma of Gurukul Global School, Mani Majra, said, “The paper was neither tough nor easy. Most of the questions were from the NCERT book. Questions of organic chemistry were tricky while the physical and inorganic portion was scoring.”

Janet Gill of Gurukul Global School said, “The chemistry paper was tricky and lengthy. It took too much time to finish it.”

However, students of Hansraj Public School, Sector 6, Panchkula, differed. They found the paper simple and scoring.

“It was a very easy paper. Most of the questions were from chapters. Organic chemistry was scoring. I hope to score full marks in this section,” said Vedant Abrol, a student of Hansraj Public School. His schoolmate Abhimanyu Atri added: “The paper was very simple. Most of the questions were from previous year papers.”
