Students from Asha Kiran, Vatika Institute celebrate the day

CHANDIGARH:The Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR) celebrated “International Day of Deaf” at Asha Kiran, a vocational training centre, in Sector 46 here today.

Chandigarh, September 23

The Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR) celebrated “International Day of Deaf” at Asha Kiran, a vocational training centre, in Sector 46 here today.

The celebration was marked with an aim to create more awareness and draw attention of public towards their achievements of children. The children from Asha Kiran and the Vatika Institute for Deaf and Dumb, Sector 19, presented a vibrant cultural function. 

HarjinderKaur, chairperson, CCPCR said, "I am enthralled to witness such amasing talent from Vatika and Asha Kiran. You are true future leaders of tomorrow who can take on the world and make it a better place for everyone." Students were given special awards and participation medal, certificate and cash prize.—TNS
