Chandigarh: Tanishka Sareen (in pic), a student of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Sector 26, won three gold medals in the recently concluded inter-school archery championship. Tanishka won all her three titles in the U-14 Indian round competition. While Tanishka scored 335 points to top the podium in the 30m contest, she gathered 331 points to rule the 20m category. With an aggregate of 666 points, Tanishka also claimed the overall title. Aayat of Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, finished second, while her schoolmate Priya bagged the third position. Armaan bowls Adda’s eleven to victory
Chandigarh: Adda’s Cricket Eleven defeated Namaste Chandigarh Complex, Dera Bassi, by eight wickets in a My Country-My Love T20 Tournament match here. Batting first, Namaste Chandigarh were all out for 79 runs in 18.1 overs. Armaan Josan was the pick of the bowlers for Adda’s Eleven, claiming 3/24. Pankaj took two wickets. Aayush (19) was the top scorer for Namaste Chandigarh. In reply, Adda’s Eleven scampered home with eight wickets in hand. Kamal Joshi made 27, while Abhishek Bhateja contributed 26 runs to the chase.
