Three booked

Chandigarh, October 23 

Two days after a student, an Afghan national, was beaten up outside DAV School in Sector 15, the Chandigarh Police registered a case against three school students. 

The victim, identified as Wali Mohamed (20), who is a class XI student of DAV School and lives in Sector 15, was thrashed outside the school on October 20. 

On the day of the incident, the victim was called out of the school and thrashed following an altercation.  Wali was attacked with sticks and one of the assailants bit his right ear. Wali Mohamed received stitches at the GMSH, Sector 16. No arrests have been made in the case so far. — TNS
