Chandigarh, May 26

The police have arrested three persons for allegedly harassing a Class IX girl. The victim, a Sector 25 resident, was walking home on Friday when three youth, Vishal, Ankush and Krishan, on an Activa scooter blocked her way.

They harassed the victim but she somehow managed to escape. While she initially did not mention about the incident to anyone, she refused to go for her tuition on Saturday. After her family asked, she narrated the incident to them. The family then approached the police, which registered a case and arrested the accused.
