Tipsy man jumps from first floor at GMCH, injured

CHANDIGARH: High drama took place at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, today after an unknown patient at the medical emergency jumped from the first floor.

High drama took place at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, today after an unknown patient at the medical emergency jumped from the first floor.

The incident took place during the afternoon when the police brought the 25-year-old man, who was in an inebriated condition, to the hospital for a medical examination.

The tipsy man went to the toilet and jumped from the window in a bid to escape.

The incident led to commotion in the emergency area. According to the hospital authorities, the man suffered minor injuries and is under treatment. The identity of the man was not known yet as he was not carrying any wallet or mobile phone.
