Chandigarh, January 6

The tricity today witnessed first showers of the year. The Met Department recorded 1 mm of rain in three hours in the evening. With this,  the maximum temperature came down to 16.2°C. While in the day, the maximum temperature was recorded at 21.7°C, the minimum was 10.4°C.

The Met Department has predicted that the city will receive rain for next three days which. Rain is expected in the city on Saturday and the maximum temperature will be 20°C and the minimum temperature will be 13°C. Meanwhile, due to fog, nine flights and nine trains were delayed. — TNS
