Two held for snatching mobile phone

Chandigarh: The police have arrested two persons for snatching a mobile phone from a Mohali resident at Sector 10 here on Saturday night.



Chandigarh: The police have arrested two persons for snatching a mobile phone from a Mohali resident at Sector 10 here on Saturday night. The complainant in the case, Rajesh of Phase II, Mohali, reported that two motorcycle-borne miscreants had sped away after snatching his mobile phone near Hotel Mountview in Sector 10. Following the complaint, a case was registered at the Sector 3 police station. Later, the police managed to arrest the accused, identified as Mansa Ram, a resident of Bapu Dham Colony and an auto driver by profession, and Sandeep, a resident of Nayagaon. The police claimed that the snatched mobile phone was recovered from the duo. The police are investigating about their antecedents. Sources said the police were verifying whether the accused were involved in any other case. TNS
