Two held with countrymade pistol, cartridges

The Operation Cell of the Chandigarh police has arrested two persons, including a woman, for carrying a countrymade pistol and two cartridges. 

According to the police, a team of the cell was patrolling some area in Sector 37 when they received information that a man and a woman, travelling in a car, were carrying an illegal weapon. The police intercepted the duo at a parking lot in Sector 37. They recovered a countrymade pistol from Naresh Kumar, a resident of Sector 20, and two cartridges from the woman, a resident of Sector 18.
