UT to acquire 12 acres for link road to Mohali

CHANDIGARH: The Chandigarh Administration has decided to acquire 12.23 acres for the construction of a new link road to Mohali. Sources said the new link road was being proposed from New Chandigarh to Mohali.

The Chandigarh Administration has decided to acquire 12.23 acres for the construction of a new link road to Mohali. Sources said the new link road was being proposed from New Chandigarh to Mohali.

With the construction of the road, residents will have another link to Mohali and Ropar. This will reduce traffic on the existing roads.

The Chandigarh Administration has issued a notification for the acquisition of land in Dhanas and Dadu Majra. The Administration has decided to carry out the social impact assessment before starting the acquisition process. Through this, it will prepare an estimate of the affected people.
