Woman delivers baby boy on bus

Fatehgarh Sahib: Neelu, a resident of Sirhind, delivered a baby boy on a Punjab Roadways bus coming from Chandigarh to Sirhind. Karamjit Singh, the conductor of the bus, said the woman boarded the bus from Chandigarh for Sirhind. As the bus reached near Aam Khas Bagh, she started getting labour pains. He said the bus was stopped and the male passengers were asked to alight. Women passengers helped her in delivering the baby boy. He said the mother and the child were taken to the nearby Mahesh Hospital in Sirhind and both were doing fine. oc
