Woman doc dies in hit-&-run

Panchkula: A junior resident doctor (33) of the PGI died after she was hit by an unidentified vehicle here on Tuesday night in Naraingarh. Sources said the victim, Dhanshri Sharma, was doing MD from Advanced Paediatric Centre, PGI. She was on an outdoor duty at Naraingarh. She was on her two-wheeler when the unidentified vehicle hit her and sped away. She was rushed to a hospital where she was declared brought dead. She was staying at the PGI and hailed from Karnataka.  — TNS
