Woman hangs herself to death

CHANDIGARH:A 32-year-old woman reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her house in Bapu Dham Colony, Sector 26, here today.

Chandigarh, December 12 

A 32-year-old woman reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her house in Bapu Dham Colony, Sector 26, here today. Her family members have alleged some foul play behind the incident.

Sources said the victim had been identified as Mamta. She was married around 11 years ago.

The police said the victim was rushed to the Government Multi Specialty Hospital, Sector 16, where she was declared brought dead.

She is survived by her husband and two children. An inquest proceeding has been initiated at the Sector 26 police station.
